Cory St. Ewart is a filmmaker based in New York, NY. He currently in his second year as a MFA Film student at Columbia University in the City of New York. He holds a BFA in Digital and New Media Art from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. His films explore racial identity, interracial relationships with a propensity for comedic undertones, and south Louisiana folk through the sense of the new Southern gothic. He is also a member of the New Orleans Film Society's 2022 Emerging Voices Fellowship. Before beginning his career in filmmaking, Cory was a resident painter at Basin Arts, located in downtown Lafayette, for two years.
